Trevor and Isabel Forrester
have a passion for diamonds, coloured and precious stone jewellery stretching back over twenty years.

Trevor trained at one of England's most highly regarded colleges 'Camberwell School of Art & Crafts' [recently amalgamated with Central St. Martins and renamed The University of Arts - London].
In his final year Trevor won the prestigious ‘New Designer of the Year’ award sponsored by House & Gardens magazine.
He went on to teach at colleges in England before setting up his first commercial jewellery studio.

Trevor has exhibited and sold his work in more than sixty different galleries worldwide from The United Kingdom and Europe to Canada and Japan and is well respected for his expertise with platinum, gold, diamonds and coloured stones.

His work has been featured in a diverse range of select publications ‘Crafts’ (The UK Crafts Council magazine), ‘Design’ (The UK Design Council magazine), ‘House and Gardens’, The Daily Telegraph, The Financial Times, ‘Country Living’, ‘The Herald Tribune’, and 'OK' Magazine.

Trevor and Isabel met in London in 1996 and later created Fifth Element Jewellery in Devon, England (now over ten years old).
They spread their wings again and as Isabel’s family had first arrived in New Zealand in the 1850's they decided to move to the other side of the world to investigate the Land of The Long White Cloud. In 2004 they founded 'Juniper jewellers and goldsmiths' in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Isabel’s outstanding design sense has always been a guiding force within the partnership driving new directions and styles, complimenting Trevor’s more formal design training, and outstanding technical skills.

Their list of clients include actors and musicians such as
Dame Judy Dench, Juliet Stevenson, Sorcha Cusack, John Cleese ,
Rick Mayal and Nigel Kennedy.

As they source their wide variety of diamonds, precious and semi-precious stones from around the world they look forward to the challenge of integrating European and Polynesian influences to create even more variety to their unique brand of jewellery with personality.
